Born in Queens, New York City, New York, Peter Facinelli was educated at St. Francis Preparatory School and went on to attend St. John's University, but left after a year to follow his interest in acting at the Atlantic Theater Company Acting School. He made his big screen debut in 1995, appearing as Lucifer in Angela. Also in 1995 he made guest appearances in episodes of Law & Order, and The Wright Verdicts.
