What's the standard for deault airtime, i tried 8pm it refused it.

Would it be possible to have it from 00 to 12 wich check boxes for am or pm ? I don't know if this is in the pipeline but since there is no instruction, i couldn't add the time of airing. It's for forgive me, it restarts on Super Channel on sunday 18 at 8pm.

If you hover over the title "Default Airtime", you'll se "The time at which new episodes for this show normally air. In 24-hour format: like 20:00 or 01:30."

oh i tried that, i guess i didn't stay long enough..

But i'd suggest a scroll down menu instead of this... it'll be more precise from 1 to 24 for hours if you go that route and from 1 to 60 for minutes. That'll be easier for everyone too.

So far we are using the European way, from 00:00 to 23:59, in Europe we say 20:00 which means 8pm in the USA. We need to wait for david or jan to see why they choosed the european way.

I don't mind that, Juan. Not at all. Universal time is fine by me.

I'm just suggesting scroll down menus might be more user friendly. Not saying it needs to be done yesterday either. Just that maybe rethink it when the other things that are way more important are nearly done.

Now that i know what to do, i'll know how to deal with it, but if someone wants to update a show and has never used the system, this is going to come up again because it's not very clear at all. You just have a space bar and nothing else, not even a question mark next to it to explain. We're not idiots, but it's asking us to think in ways we are not used to and thus we might not even think of it at all because it might not be logical at all for us. It might be for you, because you've been using the system for a year (i know exactly how this feels) but as outsider or for a newbie, it ain't that user friendly.

The titles that maybe need some extra explanation are dotted underlined. If you hover over them, your cursor becomes a question mark and after a second or 2 you see some that extra explanation.
I don't think it can be any clearer, but I second your thought that a dropdown-menu or something simular (automated check or so, 'cause the dropdown-menu would be very long) can always be that extra help :-)

With all do respect Tonk, but weren't you the one that was not very fund of extra clicking? You're suggestion makes no sense at all now as it requires more clicking, which is more time consuming. I'd say we stick to UTC time as it is right now and to fill it in yourself, not just using scroll downs (which I hate too as they work terrible on mobile phones!)

PM and AM might cause another problem as some people might not know the difference or are using AM when PM is required (especially when it is 12 pm or am)

I wouldn't call it the European way. 24-hour times are the standard in pretty much every country in the world except the USA. All technical (ISO) standards use 24-hour time specifications as well.

That is correct :D

I was asking for a feature with a quick link menu for shows and people. It wasn't about clicking as much as trying to obtain a feature that was user friendly and fast.

Here i'm not advocating for clicking at all. You're seen mainly as an american website, using universal time (which i totally get, i'm not against it at all) can make it confusing to the majority of users who may contribute and because they apply the american system, they would do exactly what I did, without knowing, and i emphasize on "not knowing", their first instinct is to enter by using US time 8pm for example, because that makes sense... because if you read an article on an english/american/canadian website, you'll get that time in am or pm and you'll just copy it. Is it wrong, probably, but you can't fault us.

A scroll down menu has no clicking at all. It was a suggestion to make it more user friendly. It's a bit of tweaking. I am not saying it will be easy to script at all, just a slight modification that will make it more user friendly than what is in place.

The only way to request a change is after you've used soemthing and someone explain how it actually works etc. If it was exactly what you were askin for, great, if not, no harm in suggesting something a little bit different. Again, no implication that it should be done.

I can also say i'd be happy if we could add number of seasons and number of episodes on that form.. Granted, usually only 1 season is ordered, but it's becoming increasingly common for networks/streaming services to order 2 seasons at once... That way, that would be done in one go. Again, if you prefer it was added later on, that's ok.

----------

By the way, I also advocated to change the system to update guests with check boxes. When clicking is a better solution, why would i be against it.

Q. What happens when I follow a Network or Actor?

I know that if I follow a TV show, it pops up in the watchlist and show list but nothing seems to happen for the other stuff.

I have a question about this series that aired in the U.K. “The Queen's Nose” that was added to the site today? It currently indicates that it had only 3 seasons but it only shows Season 3 with 6 episodes from 18 November 1998 to 23 December 1998, I assume this information came from tvdb.com? - http://www.tvmaze.com/shows/6559/the-queens-nose/episodes
I however found this same series at imdb.com and it indicates this series had 7 seasons and aired from 15 November 1995 to 16 December 2003. - http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0112133/?ref_=fn_tt_tt_1
So which site is correct – imdb.com with 7 seasons or tvdb.com with only 3 seasons?
After I posted this I also found that at wikipedia.com it also indicates the same thing as imdb.com
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Queen%27s_Nose_(TV_series)

You are correct Ron, the official site also says there have been seven seasons :)

http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b0072h2v/episodes/...

someday soon we need to add those seasons and correct the show.

cheers
