Well, not directly, the amount of content in a show is not a factor in itself.
But indirectly, yes. The more interesting content, the more likely it is to attract visitors, and the higher it would rank.

What I meant is that does the fact that I'm visiting the page multiple times to add information raise the number of visits, and thus the profile of the show?

Indeed. We're open to adding extra stuff like episode trivia/quotes/etc in the future though. Key here would be the interest from our editing users, we want to know that it'll actually be used before adding it.

I'm an editing user, and would add lots of quotes. Trivia and goofs, depends on how much there is for any given episodes.

Some shows just aren't going to generate that much of either one of them on a per/episode basis. Or interesting quotes, for that matter.

I would perhaps add some songs :)

I really think we should consider adding news and extras/varia to shows.

I agree that a lot of people will add garbage, but that can happen for normal show info also.

Cultural References/Allusions need to be pinned down a bit, though. We got a lot of... different cultural stuff at TVRage. One editor felt obliged to explain every non-American term on American shows, for instance. I don't think you need to have "Sushi" as a cultural item.

Yeah, writing a policy for things like this would probably take more time than actually creating them. But I see there's some interest already, will keep it in mind. :)

Quick q: Did the site remove the ability to suggest shows to be added? Because I can't for the life of me find it again.

No, only one visit per user/day is counted.

So if I want one or more of my shows to move up in popularity all I need to do is just click into it once a day, not make any changes or additions or anything at all and back out again and continue doing this daily for weeks or months it might move up?

Sounds like a great way to fudge the stats to me but it sounds like you are ok with that?

Sure, go ahead and check out your favorite shows. That's what the site is for.

Is there a policy in place yet that concerns unaired episodes that were taped but never aired? (R5)

I'm not even sure if this show "You Wish" ever even put out a video VHS or DVD with the missing 5 final episodes if that is even important or not to determine if that would then make them eligible? Anyways this series taped 12 episodes but wikipedia.com indicates that this show was cancelled and the final 5 episodes never aired. We show all 12 episodes here so i just wanted to get it clarified in case those last 5 episodes need to be removed or not?

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/You_Wish_(TV_series) - "Although the series made a total of 12 episodes, it was taken off after the seventh episode, "Genie Without a Cause." This episode, which aired on November 7, 1997, was part of a night-long TGIF retro crossover, which started with Sabrina. Sabrina made a time ball, which Salem swallowed and caused the time period to be the 1960s. Salem then crossed over to Boy Meets World, turning it into the 1940s, then this series to the 1950s and then to Teen Angel to the 1970s."

note: no caps, no cussing, no rudeness, no demands, I am not upset, I am only asking a question here for clarification and to find out if those last 5 episodes need to be removed or not?

Thank you very much for your kind assistance in this matter, Ron, 11/10/2015 3:28 AM

Yep, we have this situation covered!

"However, the source (a specific network or a specific web channel) of episode airdates must be consistent within a season. For example, a show airs 10 episodes on FOX after which it's cancelled. A few months later, the final 3 episodes air on a foreign network. In this case, the airdate for those final 3 episodes must be left empty."

So the final 5 episodes should be listed, but with a blank airdate.

Ok thanks that makes a heck of a lot of good sense to me do you want me to remove the dates are have you already do it?

You can just call me the researcher/investigator because I will look everywhere on the Internet to find problems that may need work?
