SOooooo ... change it back to S04E01 and adjust the rest back? I will wait awhile this time in case more info comes to light such as ...

- Warner Bros. (production company) seems to be calling it S04 but Adult Swim calls it S03 (as does streamers Amazon, Google Play & Vudu)

- WB does have a vested interest in calling it a new season ... new season = new DVD/BluRay issue

- who owns/runs the Instagram account?

- Turner press releases online for seasons 1-3 but nothing for a season 4 (https://www.turner.com/pressroom/united-states/adult-swim/mike-tyson-mysteries)

- https://www.nytimes.com/2018/03/04/arts/whats-on-tv-sunday-the-oscars.html has correction "It is the second half of the show’s third season, not the start of its fourth season."

– Warner Bros. also calling it "a half-hour animated adult comedy series" :D

– This is the official Instagram account, the link to it is on the series webpage. I suppose it is run by some PR apprentice at the Turner :)

– The NY Times correction seems legit though. I doubt that they would made a corrections unless they were contacted by someone from Turner.

I'd leave it as it is, at least until the next episode appears on the site, to see where they put it. Or maybe try to contact the Turner directly and ask them to clarify.

It only seems like a half hour to those who don't like the series ... or an eternity ...

What I meant about Instagram was which company owns/runs it, WB or Turner. If WB at least they are consistent on numbering ... if Turner is it a case of the left hand don't know what da right hand is doin' ?

I did send a request to Turner to ask them how they view the numbering ... will post any response back here.

I did a quick look around an can't seem to find a definitive schedule for this series other than a premiere on March 08 ... the listing here had up to episode 7 listed with mixed dates from March 8th to 10th ... I added episodes 8 & 9 with no date since I can't find any but they are currently "available". Episodes 1-3 have been "available" for over a week and 4-9 became "available" this morning.

Anyone have a better idea of the official schedule for this series?

Hmm. Every ad I saw out there suggesting that the series will premiere on March 8. Like the off. twitter for example https://twitter.com/theoathcrackle or EW http://ew.com/tv/2018/01/14/the-oath-trailer-sean-bean-ryan-kwanten/ "The Oath will premiere all 10 episodes of its first season on Crackle on Thursday, March 8."

Is it really already released?

Couldn't check myself, for some weird reason Crackle website doesn't work for me at all, in any browser.

from the imdb tag, this looks like a made-for-tv movie rather than a series.

can anyone confirm?

From the looks of it, it was ordered to pilot in early 2017 but then the series was cancelled along with other pilots from 20th Century Fox Television.

In the end High Flier Films produced a 1 hour 34 minute version, though I can't confirm whether it actually aired on TV or not.

I think it's fine to delete it as the cancellation was months before any actual release as far as I can tell.

I also had no luck with Crackle but just used my regular Firefox. I don't know the provenance of the shows, but I have 2-9 sitting in my to watch folder (already watched 1 last week) ...

Quick question:
Where (and more importantly why) did Black Mirror season 5 go?

If the season doesn't have some properties, like year/month of premiere, episode order or summary, it gets deleted automatically. Since none of those are known yet, there's no reason to create an empty season.

More like a bug than a feature, imo.

That's how David explained that:

"The system was created because people frequently change episodes' season numbering or delete episodes but forget to clean up the season entries afterwards, leaving a lot of empty orphaned seasons on the site.

If a season doesn't have any episodes nor premiere dates set, its entry is barely reachable on the site, so it definitely doesn't add much value."

Yeah I remember that and I disagree with him. Not being able to specify that a show have been renewed is a pretty big hole in the feature list in my book.
