The show https://www.tvmaze.com/shows/24798/frank-kastaniegaarden is listed as having 24 seasons currently, but the official site https://www.dr.dk/drtv/saeson/frank-and-kastaniegaarden_8761 lists 14 seasons.

The problem arose when the show had most seasons split into a spring and a fall part. But the software of the original page could not handle that so spring became a season and fall became a season.  They have long since updated their software and now lists seasons by year, with both the spring and fall parts listed as 1 season.

Am i allowed to fix it according to the current layout or will it have to remain "broken" ?

Your Data Policy states "Rewriting history after an episode has premiered is never accepted." would this fall under that or not.  Currently the season and episode numbers does not match up with what's on screen each week.

Please move these two characters from guest cast to main cast (or not, read until the end before deciding)...

https://www.tvmaze.com/characters/80716/star-trek-dr-leonard-horatio-bones-mccoy

https://www.tvmaze.com/characters/80878/star-trek-yeoman-janice-rand

...they are always credited in the end credited as "Featuring..." in huge letters and they are mentioned, and then all the other guest/co- cast.

This is the same way of crediting Capt. Roger Healey and Dr. Alfred Bellows where we treat them as main cast in "I Dream of Jeanie", and they are always in the end credits prominent under "Featuring...".

In original Star Trek they do have Kirk and Spock in opening credits (and Doc. McCoy in later seasons), and in the end credits first is always mentioned prominent guest cast of the episode, then in more capital letters "Featuring..." with McCoy and Janice, and then all the rest just listed in smaller letters.

This can be confusing because sometimes most prominent guest cast is credited under "Co-Starring" while recurring "main but not put under main" cast like Uhura as well as all other minor cast are listed together.

Perhaps all the main bridge crew should be listed under main cast instead of sporadically treating them as guest cast when they appear in every episode, but at least Doc McCoy and Yeoman Janice Rand should be added as such in season 1 seeing how they're presented in the credits.

...............................

Okay, I just checked end credits of random later episodes of season 1 and they are presented different every time. Furthermore, sometimes they add Featuring for different cast, and sometimes they say Guest Cast and other time Co-Starring for prominent guest cast in different episode credits.

But what I do see is that in later episodes Scotty and Uhura and Sulu also appear under Featuring part. Anyway, their official in-episode credits is a mess at best. I am not sure what is the best way to go about this. Later in season 3 they remove the "Featuring" word in the end credits for those cast and they are just listed without any group word.

Isn't this a bit strange way to treat them as guest cast when some of them are in every episode of every season and in major role onscreen. It's like having Picard and Number 1 as main cast and treating Data, Worf, Troi, LaForge, and Crusher as guest cast.

What I initially thought will be a simple edit request now turned into something more complicated. What would be the right course of action here?

This is from the Editor Wiki on the show - Editor wiki updated

The contents of this show's editor wiki have changed since the last time you edited this show. Please read it in full before continuing.

Since TVMaze only lists TV shows, do not add the theatrical Star Trek TV movies.

James Doohan, George Takei, Nichelle Nichols, and Walter Koenig are not show stars, no matter how many times they appeared. the original series credited them as Featuring (along with other guest stars) and Co-Stars Only Shatner, Nimoy, and Kelley would be show stars.

Hope that helps!

let us wait till the episode has aired, ok? :)

Ok, will do. This episode just aired yesterday though, so please do delete her when you have time (I watched it yesterday, so I'm 100 percent sure). Thanks for your help!
