if it says this on screen, that would trump everything, are you able to make a quick screenshot of it?

I know that because I have DisneyNow on my Roku. I can't make screenshots on that but someone else with Roku can probably verify it.

Question: https://www.tvmaze.com/shows/50087/chip-n-dale-park-life has episodes that are actually a concatenation of 3 miniepisodes, each with its own title and writer (the director seems to be the same, cast credits are after the last miniepisode). Should they be listed as 1 episode, same as Disney+ lists them, or should they be listed separately? Obviously, in the second case the numbering would be different than the "official" one.

Your thoughts?

Thanks!

As per policy:

If there is a break between the two parts, two separate episodes should be created. Examples of a break are credits or titles appearing on screen for a second time; or a voice-over introducing the second part.

If there are separate titles (even if the only distinction is "Part 1" versus "Part 2") for the two parts, two separate episodes should be created.

If there are separate cast- or crew-credits for the two parts, two separate episodes should be created

Between the minisodes do we have a clear indication each part is seperate. During the credits, is each mini episode broken up completely?

Is that in the same way that any streaming service would show an indicator of the season/episode number when an episode begins playing? As that isn't what the policy means

There's a clear indication between each part with title and writers (and storyboarders), but the final credits are not broken up. Also the director credits are at the beginning at the episode and apply to all mini-episodes.

Then each part will need splitting up if a title card is present :)

Dexter's Laboratory has the same issue.

https://www.tvmaze.com/shows/1953/dexters-laboratory/episodes

Each episode consists of three separate segments with their own title cards and credits.

Wikipedia calls these segments a, b and c.

In the corner it says TV-Y and then in the middle it shows a mickey mouse logo and the name of the episode as well as S1 E1. I stopped the episode and then started it again and it shows the same screen momentarily before the episode resumes.

it's a technical title shown by a streamer and not a part of the episode itself

At least now I know that on-screen only applies to the video stream. That is not made clear in the policy.

thank god, finally

That is not made clear in the policy.

somehow no one else ever had any problems with understanding, what "on-screen" means

can we put this topic to the rest now?

Any decision, yet, about Big Brother episode naming? I stopped renaming @ 15x03 at @TomSouthwell 's request.

So I think we decided its fine to continue doing this but their was an argument that the information stored in the titles could be added to episode notes eventually when or if that feature is implemented. I'll double check this now in the staff forums and get back to you asap

According to IMDB, the correct title of this episode of Who's the Boss should be "The World Accordion to Jonathan":
