well, duh
but the majority of the shows, especially unscripted, don't have on-screen episode titles

You asked for people to weigh in :-)

Primetime or not, they also call the next episode a season premiere, twice. Here https://www.dgepress.com/disneyjunior/pressrelease/two-new-original-series-marvels-spidey-and-his-amazing-friends-and-mickey-mouse-funhouse-premiere-this-august/ and here https://www.dgepress.com/disneyjunior/pressrelease/august-2021-programming-highlights/
Which automatically makes this episode not a season premiere.

Regardless of the show's platform, the press release beats everything else except on-screen data. There are already at least 2 press releases indicating unambiguously that the show premieres on August 20, therefore the primetime special could be listed only as a significant special, and the first non-special episode will air on August 20.

DisneyNow premiered it in the morning before the primetime airing as S1 E1 which is an on screen indicator since it is a web series which trumps press releases.

Could you show me a screenshot from the episode where it says "season 1 episode 1"?

Hi

Can you please remove the episode under season 2 of Ghost Loop. So far there has only been 1 season of 8 x 30 min episodes.

https://www.tvmaze.com/shows/45435/ghost-loop/episodes

https://www.travelchannel.com/shows/ghost-loop/episodes

Travel channel have a season 1.1 where they combined 2 season 1 episodes into a 1 hour show. So they show 4 x 60 min episodes.

https://www.travelchannel.com/shows/ghost-loop/episodes/1r2r

The current entry under season 2 here is one of these combined episodes.

Thanks

It's not part of the episode itself. It's under the episode.

then it's not an on-screen appearance

it's a website listing, and it has lower priority than the press release

1. Data shown on-screen during the episode's announcement, intro, or credits

That includes web series doesn't it?

3. Data on the show's official website

DisneyNow isn't just the official website. It is the actual source of the show itself same as a network TV channel is the source of network shows.

Web series or not, it means anything shown on-screen (in the episode footage) during the episode or announcement (teaser, trailer). Show me a screenshot taken from the web series episode or trailer, or leave it alone.

3. Data on the show's official website

DisneyNow isn't just the official website. It is the actual source of the show itself same as a network TV channel is the source of network shows.

Absolutely no difference. It is a website after all.

I already stated my decision as a Head Contributor. I suggest you accept it and move on, there's nothing left to discuss.

Isn't Lucifer's summary a bit too long?

I think it is perfectly fine for a 6 season show :)
