Not sure where you getting the information? For example, there definitely were episodes on January 21, 28, and February 4 of 2014. The latter was a season finale.

I suppose the rest of episodes are also not so non-existing.

Also, do they really had episode names originally?

Took info from https://gameshows.fandom.com/wiki/The_Chase/Episode_Guide  tvdb and there was an article that said the total # of eps were 51. So it matched :)
Season 4 was half named, and I took the names from tvdb since it looked the most legit source.

Looks like season 2 had 9 episodes but the air-dates were messed up. I think the correct eps # are 8, 9, 14, 20 (S1, S2, S3, S4) just the air-dates need fixing. (https://gameshows.fandom.com/wiki/The_Chase/Episode_Guide  looks to have them correct - tvdb incorrect :)

@tnt fixed the air-dates, now you can safely delete 2x10, 2x11, 2x12 and 3x15. :D

Neither of mentioned sources is official. I wonder, what made you think that it's a good idea to use them for editing? Have you found any official source confirming those episode names?
In any case, as a rule of thumb: first, you gather all necessary information, and only then you start editing. also, when you do big edits like this, involving many already aired episodes, you better ask in the forums before you make any edits.

How do you reckon it's correct? Because it looks plausible?

Noted.

Since there's no info on the official website, this was the best source (and I've seen using this as a source)

@blackcat2021 just a tip to help, if you are not familiar with the information. If a official site only has accurate episode airdates and other information for the current season, check the Internet Archive. They may have official past seasons information available on a lot of shows. Now with the Archive and some sites, if you go far enough back, you may get information that the FLASH is not compatible. I have found that if the information is on that page but wont load, sometimes if you load in the Page Source you may be able to access it. You may already be familiar with this information and if so, maybe it will be of help to someone else.

Netflix is not the owner of the show

@drosso46561 Thanks.

@tnt Last time I pointed out a show to be messed up, you said to take it with salt... and no effort was made in correcting it. So, I tried my best to correct this one.

Season 1 last 2 episodes have the original air-date that they were created with. On fandom they have different air-dates that overlap with season 2.

Yes, but that doesn't mean you need to start editing it unless you know exactly where to get the accurate information and what to do with it.
Your effort is appreciated, but the show is still incorrect, isn't it? And on top of that, now it also has non-official episode names.

Season 1 last 2 episodes have the original air-date that they were created with. On fandom they have different air-dates that overlap with season 2.

This probably makes it obvious, why we do not consider wiki's of all sorts as a credible source?

You've put alot of "facts" with no sources backing it up. Who's saying it's only called a special because its airing in prime time? We can't guess the airing pattern of the episodes here either when @kevin87 is saying that not all episodes of every show have aired in that pattern either.

Press release trumps all other sources according to our policies, and the press release provided says the episode is a special.

Because in the press release I saw they called it a primetime special. https://disneytvanimation.com/post/654165064858943488/mickey-mouse-funhouse-sets-july-16-sneak-peek My reasoning is that a lot of shows have "sneak peeks" that are really episode 1 and that this is no different. And that the press release calling it a primetime special doesn't apply here because DisneyNow premieres the most episodes not Disney Junior, and DisneyNow considers it S1 E1.

kevin87 and I are not in disagreement when it comes to the airing pattern. We can both confirm that new episodes premiere on DisneyNow the same day as their respective television premieres regardless of what channel they premiere on, see https://whatsondisneyplus.com/mickey-mouse-funhouse-coming-soon-to-disney/ And new Disney Junior episodes notoriously sometimes premiere on Disney Channel before they air on Disney Junior as is the case with this show on August 27th with a new episode premiering on Disney Channel.

Primetime or not, they also call the next episode a season premiere, twice. Here https://www.dgepress.com/disneyjunior/pressrelease/two-new-original-series-marvels-spidey-and-his-amazing-friends-and-mickey-mouse-funhouse-premiere-this-august/ and here https://www.dgepress.com/disneyjunior/pressrelease/august-2021-programming-highlights/
Which automatically makes this episode not a season premiere.

Regardless of the show's platform, the press release beats everything else except on-screen data. There are already at least 2 press releases indicating unambiguously that the show premieres on August 20, therefore the primetime special could be listed only as a significant special, and the first non-special episode will air on August 20.

Hello @tnt,

I have a question, regarding https://www.tvmaze.com/shows/21934/desus-mero

When they changed the network to SHO, they started to use names for the episodes. I've seen your edit https://www.tvmaze.com/shows/21934/desus-mero I'm editing the new episodes using the same naming (without CAPS). Someone is updating the names for the new episodes in ALL CAPS. So I'm not sure if I change it to "normal" name is right, since the official website and futon, both have the names in ALL CAPS.

TBH, I don't know what to tell you.

On the one hand, the policy is clear:
the original episode title should be used, without any changes to e.g. the punctuation or capitalization.
https://www.tvmaze.com/faq/15/episodes

On the other hand, we have an automated importer script, which imports data from the futon, and this script "normalizes" the capitalization of the episode names. So if those episode names were imported from futon via script they won't be all caps anymore.

Besides that, there are some users who maniacally "fixing" the casing of the episode names, despite the policy. But I don't remember anyone being banned or even warned for doing this.

So I suppose you can just continue to do so.

I would say on-screen data trumps all, just the same as we've had a discussion about animations and their odd naming of Part 1/Part Two etc before, if that's what it says on screen that's what we should be displaying here.

well, duh
but the majority of the shows, especially unscripted, don't have on-screen episode titles
