Then I don't feel so bad. Both my wife and I struggled with it, but watched them all. Don't know if I'll watch any more of it or not though.
Something short & an excellent watch was The Lost Honour of Christopher Jefferies. Jason Watkins was awesome and the show stuck with me. And I'd like to throw Shetland out there for anybody who hasn't watched.

I’m going to skip watching it; read the description and doesn’t sound like something I would like.

LOVE Shetland. I‘ll be missing Perez, but can’t wait to see the next episodes with the new inspector.

It sure did! Did you watch the tv show Marcella? That was excellent and I do recommend it.
No, I haven't as yet, it is on the list, I just keep getting sidetracked and haven't gotten to it. You are the second person to recommend it to me... I think it was Soler who mentioned it to me awhile back. Jason Hughes (who is a fav of mine) is in the S2 cast and he got great reviews for his performance.

Me too, it is at the top of my list along with Vera. I have been putting off watching Jimmy P.'s last season, he is one of my favorite (detective) characters of all time, I will miss him. At some point this winter I will hunker down and binge it.
I have 3 shows in a row on Sunday - Miss Scarlet - All Creatures - Vienna Blood.
I'm probably one of the few that doesn't have a streaming service, but I will keep an ear to the ground for Marcella on one of my local channels.

yeah Brit ... take tash's advice , put it on you're list. My Sunday line up will include two of these appara , All Creatures and Vienna Blood . not a fan of Miss Scarlet , so will give it a miss. Only have Netflix , myself , when it comes to streaming . Don't remember if Marcella was on it or one of my local channels . Another series that I found was a ' watcher ' was Happy Valley with Sarah Lancashire who plays a uniformed cop filmed backed in 2015 2016 for S1 and 2 , If I'm not mistake . it is back after a 6 year hiatus with S3 airing it's first ep. on New Years day in the U.K. on BBC1 , I believe . Don't know when we'll get it , thou I believe I saw it on Netflix .

@solar, another show to add to the list: Treason, political thriller/spy genre), starring Charlie Cox of Daredevil fame. It’s just one season, five episodes, but I think worth watching.

A full night of entertainment, Appara! Doesn't happen often, but when it does, it feels like sitting down to a feast.

Marcella is on Netflix, Soler. Took a look at the synopsis of the storyline and they seem to have changed it up for S3 - went in a different direction with her life. This has been done in other shows, sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't and it loses its' original vibe - you feel like it is not the same series, but a new one with the same name.
I have been afraid of diving in to Happy Valley though it gets fabulous reviews no matter where I read. It seems like such a depressing watch.
Getting ready to watch Murder in Provence and was wondering if anyone has seen it?
I wanted to see it, but don’t have BritBox. Big fan of Roger Allam (Endeavor). Enjoy!

found it tash .... watched ep.1 last night . Felt the suspense from the start . Since it's only 1 Season , will watch 1 ep. per day .

yes Brit ... noticed that left turn it took on Marcella . lol you're right about the vibe thing .
Happy Valley is gritty , Sarah Lancashire takes her lumps on and off the job. While watching S1 and 2 a while back I felt Lancashire is a good fit for this show . Not the character she was in Last Tango / Hlfx .

@solar, Yes it’s good, we did the same thing. Re: Marcella … the writers really did a 180.

So much so Tash, I am thinking of starting the series with S3. The storyline looks intriguing and it doesn't seem like it would impact my going back to S1&2 afterwards because (from what I read) she is in a completely different world in S3.

@solar, we could of started with S3, I kinda wish we had. And yes, a completely different world.
