NBC had a busy week last week. America's Got Talent: All Stars and La Brea wrapped, while The Blacklist and Grand Crew premiered. The latest America's Got Talent entry ended about even with the previous week and should be renewed. The network pushed back-to-back episodes of La Brea the last few weeks, not normal behavior. The series wrapped its season down a hundred thousand viewers. The drama has been renewed for another season, but fans shouldn't be too surprised if there is a final season announcement for the series at upfronts. (The show doesn't have enough episodes for an automatic fourth season renewal.) The Blacklist opened its final season down from where it ended last season. Grand Crew had an abysmal opening. The show barely managed to squeak a renewed last season, it won't get a third season. Quantum Leap returned after a couple of weeks off, up three hundred thousand viewers. Night Court was down one hundred thousand viewers. Magnum PI bounced back a little, its viewer numbers split the difference with its opening two-episode premiere.

ABC saw the return of Alaska Daily last week. The series picked up three hundred thousand viewers from its last new episode in November of 2022. Good news for fans of The Company You Keep. The series managed to hold its premiere audience. It's not going to have much time to prove itself, however, and chances are the show will be cancelled. Not Dead Yet lost a hundred thousand viewers it couldn't afford. Will Trent was steady but low. Its chances for renewal are slim.

CBS premiered True Lies to low numbers last week. If it has any chance for renewal, it can't afford any losses. With so many of the network's dramas already renewed and a slate of new shows in the wings for the fall season, there's no room in the schedule for a bubble show. Survivor opened its latest season down two hundred thousand viewers from the fall. SWAT and East New York each picked up half a million viewers. Fire Country returned after a few weeks off, down half a million viewers. Blue Bloods returned after a short break, even with its last new episode.

FOX wrapped Special Forces: World's Toughest Test and Alert: Missing Persons Unit last week. World's Toughest Test ended down, losing two hundred thousand viewers. Chances are it will be renewed as the network has been leaning hard into reality/competition shows of late. Back-to-back episodes of Alert ended on an up note, gaining four hundred thousand viewers. The show never really took off, but it might see a second season depending on what scripted shows the network has in the pipe for next season. The network announced last week that the as-yet-to-premiere animated series, Krapopolis had been renewed for a third season (a second-season renewal was announced last fall). The announcement was significant since most of the Sunday animated block was already renewed for the next two years. The notable exception was The Great North, which did not receive any sort of renewal with the other animated shows, and is likely done at the end of the current season.

The CW wrapped Walker: Independence last week. The series was never more than a mediocre ratings entry for the network and with the current state of affairs with NexStar, the show is likely done. The Flash picked up one hundred thousand viewers and a few ratings hundredths to take the top spot on the chart. The Winchesters gained one hundred thousand viewers. Kung Fu was even.

the more i watch of quantum leap the more i love all the side characters. at first i felt they spent too much time in the future compared to the original show but now i love the balance. this weeks episode was really good and was mostly in the future.
