Stephen E. Miller

Stephen E. Miller is a Canadian and American screenwriter, novelist, and actor based in Vancouver, B.C. He was born in Durham, North Carolina, US, and attended Virginia Military Institute, graduating with a BA in History in 1968. He completed an MA in Creative Writing from the University of British Columbia in 1970. In 2015, Miller was a co-writer for two seasons of the CBC spy series The Romeo Section (2015). He won the International 3-Day Novel contest with "Wastefall", and subsequent novels include "The Woman in the Yard," "Field of Mars" (titled "Game of Soldiers" in the UK edition), its sequel "The Last Train to Kazan," and "The Messenger." He has acted professionally in over 50 plays and more than 175 screen appearances. In 2016, he was awarded the Sam Payne Lifetime Achievement Award for his work in Theatre, Film, and Television by UBCP/ACTRA.
