Re: All in with Chris Hayes

I recently added Season 2018 to this show but it is not being populated with episodes as yet. Can someone take care of this or let me know what I can do to fix this? I 've assumed (wrongly) that this would happen automagically :-) Thanks compadres!

At the bottom of the http://www.tvmaze.com/shows/9311/all-in-with-chris-hayes/episodes page is a "Create new episode" button. You can use it to add any missing episode :)

I'm aware that I can create individual missing episodes, but the whole year is missing. It would be an onerous task to create individual episodes for 5 months of a season.

Can you run a process that populates the database with the missing episodes?

More importantly, upcoming episodes are not appearing in the Schedule or Calendar. Can you rectify this?

Over at TVDB I have been entering in daily episodes of shows that my wife watches so that metadata is available in Plex where she views the programs. 'Rachael Ray', for example, I saw the entries I made over at TVDB get imported here. Since the site changeover at TVDB however, I noticed today that no episodes have imported since approx that day (May 7th). Not sure how the importer works (the TVDB external ID seems to be correct) - but thought I should mention it.

On an aside: I noticed that the entries here are not 'season' based as entered over there but instead are 'year' based. Is that just a default setting for all syndicated programming? As somebody who is now more familiar with my wife's daily shows than any red-blooded male should be, I can state matter-of-factly that 'Rachael Ray', for example, is definitely season-based with summer re-runs and season premiere's in the fall. :-)

Are they not a main cast members, or doesn't appear in the show at all?

Doesn't appear in the show at all.

Confirmed with their own resumes.

The same user created both entries, and has never submitted here again.....

Sadly for this show we have no option to import the episodes, someone has to manually enter them.

Do you have an official source who lists them all, thne I will do it for you.

Talk shows are year based on tvmaze, it has nothing to do with syndication :)

I can only see that the next new episode is added here, it doe snot seem that we are missing episodes.

So, I was having a bit of a personal clear-out today and on my travels, found a bunch of shows that appear to be dead in the water (otherwise known as ‘in development’ purgatory) and should at least be considered for deletion unless people know stuff about these projects I've missed. I’m never quite sure how many years we hang on to ‘potential’ shows when there’s no new info/progress. Plus, information on a few shows that have definitely been passed on.

http://www.tvmaze.com/shows/8375/knoxville - In development since early 2015, there were rumours of a reworked pilot at the end of 2015. But nothing ever materialised, and 2 of the main cast have since become part of other shows.

http://www.tvmaze.com/shows/16799/dawn - Pilot ordered by Hulu at the beginning of 2016, but no other news since then, & the female lead Fola Evans Akingbola is now starring in Freeform’s Siren. (Additionally, everything else ordered in that batch has either been passed on, officially ordered to series, or aired already - http://deadline.com/2017-hulu-pilots/)

http://www.tvmaze.com/shows/27387/locke-and-key & http://www.tvmaze.com/shows/31084/crash-and-burn - Pilots officially passed on by Hulu. (Source: http://deadline.com/2018/03/locke-key-pilot-dead-not-going-to-series-hulu-pauses-pilot-orders-shopped-1202354352/)

http://www.tvmaze.com/shows/3268/warrior - In and out of development since 2014, landed at Fox in 2015. No further info since the 2015 pilot season. (& Cinemax have since ordered a series of the same name.) Probably roaming around a FOX vault for all eternity.

http://www.tvmaze.com/shows/27359/the-deep-mad-dark - Not moving forward at TNT. (Source: http://deadline.com/2017/08/the-deep-mad-dark-pilot-not-moving-forward-tnt-1202156330/)

http://www.tvmaze.com/shows/11332/the-jury - Passed on by ABC in 2016. (Source: https://www.hollywoodreporter.com/live-feed/5-surprising-pilot-passes-season-894297)

http://www.tvmaze.com/shows/22182/pigeon - Nothing since the original pilot order in 2016 & Anders Holm was the lead in another show this season, so he’s been released from contract. Could theoretically be alive somewhere but seems unlikely at this point.

http://www.tvmaze.com/shows/5494/marvels-damage-control - Been stuck in weird ABC development limbo since 2015, doesn’t seem to be going anywhere. Was supposed to be in 2016/17 line-up, but never materialised.

http://www.tvmaze.com/shows/4140/weaveworld - Been in development with SyFy since 2015 and nothing since the original announcement. I mean, it could still technically be progressing. How long does it usually take SyFy projects to start getting off the ground?

http://www.tvmaze.com/shows/3859/neverwhere – Again in development with SyFy since 2015 and seemingly no movement on the project since the original announcement. Same situation as Weaveworld.

http://www.tvmaze.com/shows/2795/red - Nothing since the original announcement in 2015 that NBC were developing it, doesn’t seem to be going anywhere.

http://www.tvmaze.com/shows/9643/myst - Technically this version has only been in development since 2015, but honestly, one version or another of Myst has apparently been “in development” for as long as I can remember. No new information in years, it’s dead in the water.

http://www.tvmaze.com/shows/13675/artificial-intelligence - No new info since the original 2016 announcement that this landed at TNT. I mean, it could still be a thing, but highly unlikely at this point.

http://www.tvmaze.com/shows/15336/paige-one - No new info since the original development announcement by FreeForm in 2016. (Worth noting that everything else from that batch has either been passed on or aired - http://deadline.com/2016/04/young-hungry-spinoff-ashley-tisdale-later-bitches-late-night-talk-show-pretty-little-liars-premiere-date-season-7-freeform-1201733759/)

http://www.tvmaze.com/shows/3779/front-man - No movement since the pilot production announcement in 2015, probably lost in a vault at FOX somewhere never to be seen again.

http://www.tvmaze.com/shows/8875/i-shudder - Was in development during 2015 for the 2016/17 season, but never appeared. Can’t find an official pass on it, but the male lead is now in Legion, so… *makes dead noises*.

http://www.tvmaze.com/shows/4146/true-fiction - In development at Bravo since 2015. No movement beyond the pilot order. (Worth noting that the show Imposters – under its working title, was developed at the same time and is now in its second season.) Seems to be dead.

http://www.tvmaze.com/shows/29258/olive-forever - Not going forward at USA. Technically they’re shopping it, but… highly unlikely since they’ve had no offers on it by now. (Source: http://deadline.com/2017/12/olive-forever-pilot-dead-usa-network-shopped-elsewhere-1202227605/)

http://www.tvmaze.com/shows/28006/the-wilsons & http://www.tvmaze.com/shows/36599/mrs-wilson are the same show, although I can confirm it’s still ongoing at the BBC, I can’t confirm which title they’re actually going with. But one of them should be deleted.

Annnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnd, done.

I know that per policy all these shows need to be nuked unless an actual pilot was made and aired ... but I would like to suggest a change to policy ... or at least a discussion about the benefits of keeping this data. Some shows have a lot of info (actors attached, writers, producers, show summary, etc) that isn't captured elsewhere and is just wiped out here. Why not keep these show records, create a new status of "Info Only" (or whatever works/makes sense) to indicate it was a proposed show that never made it off the drawing board. It shouldn't take up that much space. ymmv

Can someone send this show http://www.tvmaze.com/shows/5087/vyzit-posle for a deserved rest finally? Its been confirmed officially and from creators of the show in social networks that it will not be continued with season 4, now even sites with dummy's date agreed that the show is dead

I've set the status as Ended, however there's no guarantee that someone will not change it again :)
