Yes GOOGLE is good but look at tvdb.com 1st then GOOGLE 2nd. Also a little hint in case you do not know as I found this out myself totally by accident. If you have to go to GOOGLE use the "WEB" search screen first if it does not help then use the "Images" screen. Sometimes on the Web Search page you find a good one that doesn't come up on the Images screen for some strange reason.

The original show image for "Superstore" which did fit but was only the name of the show on a blue background was replaced by a member with a show photo of all the cast. However their new photo was way too wide to fit as it cut off the show title on both ends. I found the exact same photo that fit just perfectly and it was in a Poster format and replaced their replacement photo which I moved to the gallery.
This is just an F.Y.I. to please send a PM to that member to explain the required Poster Photo format policy on shows please?
I tried to add a new comment to my last post but an error occurred when I tried to submit it so I must assume the site has a 60 minute time liminute on updating posts?
Anyways what I tried to say is that I just now found a 2nd bad photo that this same member submitted for "Telenovela" that is way too wide. I cannot find a good replacement for it as of yet?

I would say this still look ok, it is definitely not perfect or very good, but at elast it looks acceptable as a poster.

Well I don't agree at all! Besides that when I joined in June I had more than 1/2 of my show photos deleted/removed by you guys because as I was told "they were not a perfect fit" so leaving that one just leads me to believe that you have a double standard! You might want to have David & Thomas provide their input on it otherwise I will have to assume that I no longer need to look for perfect fit photos anymore myself either?

These photos on those site are listed as banners. it might have happened before David had introduced the difference between banners and posters on our site, but for now I am unable to find a poster and should be deleted and I agree that it doesn't really fit.

I do not know who has been adding all the UK shows the last few days but most of the show photos are way to big, off center, to wide or in the wrong format not in poster format. Photos are not being monitored or even looked at like they used to be and I have replaced a lot of them but I am tired of fixing them and need to let you know that whoever this person is they need to be told about the photo policy here is an example of a terrible looking show photo - KOTV Boxing Weekly - http://www.tvmaze.com/shows/10206/kotv-boxing-week...

That would be me. Just want to point out firstly no UK networks release images in the correct size used here which is why some are slightly too big. There is absolutely no need for you to change any images though as the images your using sometimes have nothing to do with the show or are outdated, for example using a image of the host from 2 years ago
If a poster is slightly too big, it really does not matter much, that is still ok then. Only thing that should be avoided is to use banners or "widescreen" like pictures, which completely do not fit into the poster category. Outdated posters should always be replaced with current ones, if available, Tom is correct on this :)

Well TS you may not be aware of the site photo policy and that came from Jan directly? If a photo does not fit poster size then it will remain Blank not to use one that does not fit just to have a photo there is not permitted. He stated if one never ever comes available he wants it to remain Blank rather then have an odd sized one like you put on KOTV Boxing Weekly - http://www.tvmaze.com/shows/10206/kotv-boxing-week... where you could only see 2 of 4 letters is not acceptable per the site not me! So whomever removed the one you put there was correct in doing so per site policy until one can be found that fits properly if it ever can?
BTW I knew it was you all the time TS but I did not state that so as to not upset anyone here!
Note: If it has the show title on the photo then it must be okay, this year (2015) or whenever the show began no matter how many years ago matters not if a newer one does not yet exist!

If only 2 of 4 letters are seen, then Ron is correct, such a poster should not be used, if only small bits from the left or right are not viewable, then it can be added.

The issue here is then that a large number of photos have now been removed that shouldn't of been, I understand images like the KOTV one, but not a lot of the other deletions.

Don't look at me Tom I never remove photos ever, anyways I don't have access to remove/delete photos at the present time. Did you look through the show photo gallery section because they may have been moved there but if they are not there then someone else removed them not me?
Sometimes when a new photo is added and selected as the main photo any other photo already there is automatically moved to the show gallery in case you were not aware of this?

Just adding my 2 cents (1 cent after taxes). I don't believe Network or even webchannel photos are ever a problem for 2 reasons, 1st they are sideways as opposed to longways so they are a lot easier to find, 2nd I don't believe they even care about what the Network photos look like because if you look at that section of the site Tom you will find close to 1/2 of them are too big as something is cutoff on some of them.
I sometimes when i feel i have a little extra time browse that area and try to replace some of them just to make them look a lot better but overall between you and me they are not to concerned about them as they are with people and shows!
If just a few of us cleaned up a few of them each week we maybe could get them all looking great by this time next year if we are lucky?
