I believe in this case that TS is correct in having UK on the end because no matter what it says on their official website or any website you just need to look at the official show photo now being used and that should be proof enough.
I know what the site rules state however this would be an exception to the rule because of the photo not because someone just arbitrarily added a country designation or it came from tvdb.com which puts a lot of country designators on a lot of their titles which we in turn remove their country from the title as not being according to site rules.
Therefore the POB should let this one go as being correct and if they can't see that then there is something seriously wrong with their thinking on this one?

I assume we'd better wait when Channel 5 is putting it officially on their page, but if it is not on their site with the UK, it should be removed by then.

Yes it is an image from the official show page, that is correct, but it is NOT a show poster. I know at tvrage one could use each format and it did not matter how it looked, it just needed to be from the official page, but we like to have the same format here for all shows, a poster format, where you can see what show it is. A portrait of a host, with nothing else to be seen on the photo iis not what we like to have, if there is no suitable poster available, just leave it blank, till there is one :)

I just now found out by accident that at least 6 of my show images all for Bowl Games were removed for no reason by someone and I was never told and I am very upset about that and I am putting them ALL back now. Whoever it was that did that STOP MESSING WITH PHOTOS!
This one that was removed - http://www.tvmaze.com/shows/10189/camellia-bowl I was not even the person who added it originally. Whoever approved the addition of this Bowl added it in faster than I could add in the photo that I had already saved to use.
They have been doing that a lot lately as I save all my photos before I submit a new show request so they are already handy and when i see one has been approved I rush to add a photo but 9 times out of 10 the approver has decided that they need to add a photo themselves and don't even give me a chance to add my own photos because they want to do it themselves like they have nothing better to do and that sucks!

The link to the photo you pasted looks ok to me, it has no poster format, but the stuff that is seen in the poster display shows the name of the show. so in my opinion it should definitely stay.
I will talk again to staff that if a poster is removed, the uploader should be msged.

Thank you vm and I just found another one that was removed and that now makes 7 but that's just the ones I found myself by accident, who knows who many more were removed for no good reason?

uhh, that would be me. What's the problem with me adding an image to a show I approve?
I add show images to every show I approve (Assuming I can find one that is appropriate) & I will continue to do so.
If you want to add your own after one is already there, go right ahead. Makes no difference to me.
If Tony adds a requested show with images. That's perfectly fine with us and on the other hand, we prefer he does it. If you want to add your own photos, feel free to add them, but do not tell him to quit it, cause he is doing a very good job with these. The gallery is there for more photos, not just one, so as Tony said himself, feel free to add another one, however if not fitting, just don't click that box 'Main Image'

Yeh all is fine Tony and we can add as many show photos to the gallery as we like to, the poster that fits best should be the main image then and all the rest can be seen in the gallery :)

No better than a generic headshot of Stephen Amell for Arrow. Maybe it's from the show, maybe it isn't. Wouldn't something with Patrick Aryee and big cats meet the definition of "acceptable" given earlier?

That's why I make a "big deal" out of the occasional topic: so I understand what's going on. One minute we're told to leave gray squares if all that's available are random show photos of a cast member from the show. Then we're adding random show photos of animals to an animal show.
I also put in a shot of Patrick Aryee, the host, for Patrick Aryee and "Himself." Different photo, but I had to make sure it was him in the new gallery image anyway. Overall, took about five minutes.
FYI, wouldn't it make more sense to add a new image and mark it Main Image. Rather than delete the original image entirely?

Adding text to images looks ridiculous to me. The original image was of Patrick with the cat on his head. I cant find that image that Thomas has used anywhere on the Sky website.

It does not need to be from the official page. Lots of posters we added to our database as main image are from TVDB and most of them are fan-made..

That specie of big cat is definitely there as it's even on the photo of Patrick you uploaded.

It just seems really bizarre to me that we just choose a random image of big cats for a show with big cats, it's a little like choosing a image of someone dressed as Doctor Who for Doctor Who.
