Titans edit Dove

Heya tnt

I edited the "Dove" character names on the Titans eps 9 list to reflect that Don Hall was Dove (I) and Dawn Granger was Dove (II).

I noticed you reverted them back without a chat and wondered why. I made the decision based on DC Universe canon that the show has mirrored.

Following is the supporting info as to why I made the edit.

In the TV show they were never called "Dove one" or "Dove two", they were both just called Dove. Reference to "canon" is irrelevant, the only thing that matters is how the characters are named on-screen or in the official press releases/episode summaries.

For the life of me, I couldn't spot Jason McKinnon in the 12/3 episode of DC's Legends? I know he's credited, but of his character I couldn't see a trace. I must be missing something. :( If you could help out a (time)-bro... where the heck does he show up?

Bloody hell, I missed Ms. Amell as well. As did my SO. Where the heck does she appear in Supergirl? Even with your photo, I can't spot her. :( Thanks!

Around 14 second from the top of episode, when Deegan does this "My name is John Deegan..." speech. When he talks about being a doctor in Arkham, we briefly see he's doing some kind of shock therapy on Nora.

That's a hard series to find on torrent. I enjoyed the first 2 eps and working on downloading up to eps 8 but can't find anything past it yet.

It not fixes itself, just the premiering/returning part is not displayed anymore, until the end of a season.

That's why I had fixes in quotes ... it was meant to say the visible error is no longer being displayed not that the bug is truly fixed.

One thing is when the system not displaying something, that could be displayed. Like the episode order, until some conditions are met. But it's totally different when the system displaying the wrong or misleading information, ignoring the accurate data it have.

100% Agreed. If it seemed like I was trying to minimize your observation, that was certainly not my intent. In the particular case, the issue "disappears" in a week but I've seen other cases where the bug will be visible for months on end before "fixing" itself.

Deleting proper information to circumvent the software bug is absurd, don't you think?

Also 100% agreed. Removing known, accurate data to fix the problem is not a fix nor is it even a real workaround.

So ya, definitely a bug and definitely needs to be on the ToDo list.

Yes, except in the release I posted they went more in-depth on who did what. Turk wrote the screenplay from a story Dick Wolf and himself thought up.

A news release that goes more in-depth is not over ruled by a news release that leaves things out.

Specific episode release, issued in August, by any means would have more actual information, then a general release, issued in May, and covering a half-dozen of the shows. It doesn't matter, who wrote what, what matter is who is credited and how. And CBS episodic releases are proved to be consistent with the on screen credits.

yes, a new press release usually overrules an older one, but sometimes a newer press release is jst shortened, that means the info from the older release is still valuable :)
