Lincoln Lawyer

SilverSurfer posted 3 years ago

Lincoln Lawyer may not be dead yet as it will likely be shopped around to other nets/outlets ... now whether that will be successful  is another question. :)

tnt posted 3 years ago

Well, it is definitely dead on CBS. If it will be sold to other place, we will re-add it with a new network, as we usually do.

Hey, tnt: I hope the coronavirus is leaving you and your family alone.

Please delete my mistake: https://www.tvmaze.com/episodes/1856617/mega-machines-2x11-city-of-ice. I got click-happy adding this episode to Mega Machines when I meant to add it to Building Giants (https://www.tvmaze.com/shows/34276/building-giants).

Mega Machines Season 2 appears to be over. Building Giants replaces it in the Wednesday 2100 slot on May 6 and 13 according to the Science Channel’s two-week schedule page (https://www.sciencechannel.com/schedule). It shows "The City of Ice" as a NEW episode airing May 6. But after I realized my error, the question became, "Is it the next episode in Season 3 for Building Giants or episode 1 of Season 4?" I found no Discovery/Science Channel press release about this and nothing in Google searches.

Also, the SciChan May 13 schedule shows "L.A. Mega Rail" airing as a NEW episode. We have it as Season 3, Episode 6 (https://www.tvmaze.com/episodes/1771613/building-giants-3x06-la-mega-rail). So too does TVDB and IMDb. But, I remember that it never aired on December 14, 2019. I watched this series regularly. I could be wrong, of course.

But the Science Channel never added it to their website for follow-on viewing here:https://www.sciencechannel.com/tv-shows/building-giants. Finally, neither Amazon Video, iTunes, Vudu, nor Google Play list "L.A. Mega Rail" in their Season 3 lists for viewing as Episode 6.

Any ideas for how to proceed? I guess we can wait for airings on May 6 and 13 to see how SciChan adds these episodes to their viewing webpage.Thank you as always.

Thank you, we're all fine here. I hope you and yours as well :)

Well, I'd add it to season 3 for now. We could always change it later :)

About "L.A. Mega Rail" – actually it was you who added this episode back in December. I have no clue why, if you say it never aired?
Apart from missing from Discovery website, it also crossed over in futon's listings, which usually means that episode was not broadcasted.

So, to conclude, I'll add "The City of Ice" as 3x06 and move "L.A. Mega Rail" to 3x07.

7 seeds

Hi tnt

Just curious as to why you've added the new episodes to season 1 instead of season 2 as Netflix has them as 2 seasons (well parts really), i know Netflix and their parts, not season shows are a bit of a mess at times so just wanted to check if you found something to suggest it's just one season and not two before i moved anything?

tnt posted 4 years ago

I assume you mean 7seeds? :)

On Netflix part 2 starts with episode 13, so it seemed logical to add them on top of season 1.

MTQueenie posted 4 years ago

I just saw the two parts and checked some animesites that all listed them as two seasons so never really looked closer on the actual episodes, well dohhh. Jeez why do Netflix have to make some shows so confusing by adding new seasons that isn't new seasons after all *sigh

You're right, it's super annoying >_<

Les Petites Sorcières

Yes, but since it was premiered on TF1, you need to set the name used by TF1. Why the series which have official French name would air on French network under Spanish name?

Korean names

deleted posted 4 years ago

Hey tnt,

Please do not change the Korean names to the format Netflix uses it please. https://www.tvmaze.com/people/84342/go-sung-hee

There are several ways a Korean name could be spelled in a romanized form and I try to stick to one format, otherwise so many duplicates will eventually be added.

Just a head ups :)

tnt posted 4 years ago

Ok, but please do not delete Netflix formatted AKAs, 'cause this definitely will lead to adding duplicates.

deleted posted 4 years ago

Oh don't worry, I usually add them as an AKA, although having the same name as an aka and as the actual name doesn't do justice :), but thanks!!

tnt posted 4 years ago

No, I mean you renamed her back to original spelling, and deleted Netflix spelling (Ko Sung-hee) completely. What I'm asking is that you save Netflix spelling as AKA :)

deleted posted 4 years ago

Oh it doesn't really matter to be frank, Go Sung Hee will appear if you search for ko sung-hee too, but will add it for you.

tnt posted 4 years ago

Yeah, thanks. Without this name listed it's hard to tell, is it her actual AKA, or she just the closest match suggested by the search system. At least for someone who not an expert in Korean actors :D

deleted posted 4 years ago

Oh I could tell you that it's a total pain in the butt to find some Korean actors in our db.... There are a few examples where you have 7 different actors/crew with the same exact name and you only can select the one based on the previous series he was attending in if he's in one obviously.

tnt posted 4 years ago

Yeah, I've seen some :) Also the first and last names could be written in any order ))
