Born in Florida, raised in New York, Tosin Cole and his family relocated to London when he was age eight. Wanting to pursue an acting career, he left school before his A-levels, landing a role in a 2009 modern day stage production of Julius Caesar. In 2010 he joined the cast of the teen drama The Cut as Noah Achebe, followed that same year by a three episode arc in EastEnders:E20
