Born in Memphis, Tennessee, Anne Haney began her Hollywood career in her mid-40s after her daughter went off to college. She caught the acting bug in the early 1970's, appearing in commercials and local theatrical productions in Atlanta, Jacksonville, and Norfolk, Virginia. When her husband passed away, she made the move to California on her own, and not long after arriving, she appeared in the 1978 TV movie Summer of My German Soldier, a 1980 episode of an ABC Weekend Special, and then a part in the 1980 film Hopscotch. In the course of her two decade career she accumulated over 100 acting credits in film and on television.
Anne Haney died of congestive heart failure at the age of 67.
