Born in Okinawa, Brian Tee was raised in California from the age of two, graduating from University of California, Berkeley with a degree in theater and performing arts. He began his career in 2000 in an uncredited appearance in the film What Planet Are You From?, along with small single episode roles in The Pretender, The Invisible Man and Buffy the Vampire Slayer.
