Born in New Brunswick, New Jersey, Stanley Kamel graduated from Boston University School of Fine and Applied Arts, then moved to New York and studied under famed acting coach Sandy Meisner. Relocating to California he debuted in a 1968 episode of The Wild Wild West, credited under his birth Name Jonathan Brooks. In 1972 he joined the cast of Days of Our Lives as Eric Peters, and his final acting credit was as Dr. Charles Kroger in the series Monk.
Stanley Kamel was found dead of an apparent heart attack at age 65.
