On Call The Midwife we currently have Laura Main listed as Shelagh Turner, but she began the show as Sister Bernadette when she was a nun, and wasn't known as Shelagh until she left the order at the end of season 2. Also, to further add to it, the reverse happened later.  We have Bryony Hannah as Cynthia Miller but she became a nun, yet we have her later name as AKA when if we followed logic for Laura Main, she should have been changed to Sister Mary Cynthia with Cynthia Miller as the AKA. It's a similar situation to having a characters maiden name as their official name and putting their married name as the AKA. Feels like we should have it one way or the other, do we put it as their first appearance credit and do anything else as AKA sort of like the superhero rule we have, or update it and have it as a spoiler?

The official website only lists up to Episode 45, the last episode that aired. On the show's Twitter account, they mention the airdate (March 6) of the next episode, Episode 46, which I added. I cannot add any more episodes because I don't know how many more episodes this season will have or when they will air.

I think the issue here would mainly be soaps - a character could marry several times and become synonymous for having one name throughout their appearances on the show. I would lean towards calling them how they are currently credited and everything else as an AKA. But this may even be worth creating a completely new thread for as I know it's a bug bearbear of @LadyShelley and @RoseRed too :).

Big Time Rush added as Guest Star and individual members were removed. :)

That show is an international production (several networks involved) and mainly filmed in english, so the original title is the english one, than is translated in various languages but it's not a german series, or at least not exlusivetly.
