Tom's acting credits across television, film and theatre include roles on "The Joy Luck Club," "Supernatural," ABC's "Men in Trees," "Grace Under Fire" and as Ross Gellar's girlfriend Julie in the hugely popular sitcom, "Friends."
On Broadway, Tom appeared in "A Chorus Line," "Hurlyburly" and "Doonesbury." Her feature film credits include "Joy Luck Club," "Bad Santa," "In Good Company," "When a Man Loves a Woman," "Mr. Jones," "With Friends Like These," "Catfish in Black Bean Sauce" and "Manhood."
While "Andi Mack" marks her first live-action role on Disney Channel, Tom previously had voice roles on the animated series "Kim Possible." Other voiceover work includes "King of the Hill," "Batman," "Superman," "Baby Clifford," "American Dragon" and the animated home video sequel to Disney's "Mulan," "Mulan II."
Tom resides in Los Angeles with her family. In her spare time she likes to paint, play piano, and attend her sons' hockey games and speech and debate tournaments.
