Born in Vicksburg, Michigan, William Lucking graduated from UCLA with a degree in literature, and furthered his theater studies at the Pasadena Playhouse. In 1986, with fellow actor Dana Elcar, he co-founded the Santa Paula Theater Center. He had a long and varied acting career, first appearing in 1968 in an episode of Ironside, an uncredited appearance in Mission: Impossible, and in 1969 as Gippo in the film Hell's Belles.
William Lucking died in his Las Vegas home at age 80.
