Grant Gustin is an American actor and singer, born Thomas Grant Gustin on January 14, 1990, in Norfolk, Virginia. He trained in musical theatre at the Governor's School for the Arts and Elon University before leaving college to play Baby John in the national tour of West Side Story. Gustin gained television attention as the ambitious Dalton Academy Warbler Sebastian Smythe in Glee, followed by a recurring role as Campbell Price in 90210. He achieved international fame as Barry Allen, the superhero The Flash, debuting on Arrow before leading The Flash for nine seasons from 2014 to 2023. He also portrayed the character across the interconnected Arrowverse series Supergirl, Legends of Tomorrow and Batwoman. Gustin's movies include Affluenza, Krystal, Netflix's Rescued by Ruby and the romantic comedy Puppy Love. In 2024, he made his Broadway debut as Jacob Jankowski in the musical Water for Elephants.
